At the beginning of the story of Resident Evil Revelations 2, fan favorite Claire Redfield makes a dramatic return. Claire, who survived the Raccoon City incident described in the previous Resident Evil games, now works for the anti-bioterrorist organization Terra Save. Moira Burton attends a Terra Save welcome party when unknown forces storm the office. Claire and Moira are knocked unconscious, later waking up to find themselves in a dark, abandoned detention center. Working together, they must figure out who kidnapped them and for what sinister purpose. Will Claire and Moira make it out alive and discover what brought them to this remote island? A story of unexpected twists and turns will keep players guessing at every turn.
As Barry Burton heads to a remote prison island in search of his missing daughter, he meets brand new character Natalia Korda, a young girl with a strange power that allows her to sense enemies and hidden objects. Using this skill in conjunction with Barry´s proven combat abilities, players will have to switch between the two to survive the mysterious island and find Moira. Terrifying enemies await around every dark corner, and Barry will have to use his ammo and weapons wisely in classic survival horror style.
Building on the episodic chapter structure of the original Resident Evil Revelations, Resident Evil Revelations 2 will initially be released as a weekly series of episodic downloads, beginning on February 24, 2015. Players also have the option to choose the “Complete Season” or “Complete Bundle,” ensuring fans have access to each episode as it is released, along with additional bonus content. Each Resident Evil Revelations 2 episode includes Raid mode content and two full playable scenarios focusing on the previously announced Claire and Moira campaign and the recently confirmed Barry and Natalia storyline.
