**Game description**

The forces led by Raiden defeated Shinnok and his minions, but the beheading of the fallen Elder God brought about a new danger. Kronika, Shinnok´s mother, wants to change the chronology of events in order to erase Raiden´s existence from memory. Due to her actions, some dead warriors return from their graves, while others reunite with their former selves.

The plot revolves around time manipulation, allowing access to the widest range of characters in Mortal Kombat history. Among the playable warriors we find both regular participants and completely new fighters.
